Jury Body Report

This is the jury report that I took some notes about the jury critics of my friend Doğa Öykü Önen.

-Does the coloured facade spatial articulation or it was just a facade condition?

-The colored part(red one) become also a horizontal inclined surface that people can walk on rather than just placed on the facade. You should introduce these inclined surfaces.

-The structural approach is positive.

-Light conditions of spaces should be considered. The red surfaces have no opening and this limits the light. Therefore, some solutions may be found to get the light from red surfaces. It should not be a direct light, but it can be indirect. The red folded plates might be shifted, so that some openings can be achieved. Also giving a depth between these red surfaces can help to obtain indirect light. So the openings should be designed.

-The circulation and wet spaces should be gathered. Wet spaces limit the facade, so you can combine all circulation and wet spaces at the center.

-You can also have some buried spaces that also take the natural light in.

-There is  a very pure mass and the exceptional colored part. When they come together the exceptional one can deform mass one, can create an extension throughout the buried part and permeate into mass part.
